BODE CAMPBELL

Hi, I'm Bode
Since I can remember, I have been around the sport and on court with my Dad and my sister and brother. My dad played tennis in High School and College and has been a big influence in my development along with my coaches. They have invested in me which I appreciate and I believe I am very coachable when it comes to strategy and technique.
I have played on the Jefferson tennis team since 8th grade and been the #1 singles player each year. Our team reached the semifinals of our section this spring of 2024 and I finished 1st in the section, qualifying for the Minnesota State Tournament.
This year, I have dedicated myself to tennis solely as my main sport. I still love hockey, swinging the golf club, and competing in most everything I do. This summer I plan on continuing to train, play L1 tournaments and open adult tournaments.
Other Sports
I have played multiple sports over the years, specifically hockey. This past year I made the Jefferson Varsity Hockey team starting line up as a sophomore. I have captained most every team I have played on as a youth athlete which has been both an honor and a learning experience. My favorite memory was scoring the overtime goal in the PeeWee A section tournament against our rival Edina, which qualified us for the State Tournament! I have decided to focus on tennis now fulltime, and while I will miss competing on the ice, I believe my hockey experience has made me a great teammate and well-rounded athlete.
Off the Court
Academically I have always focused on learning and how to learn. This year I am taking two math classes including AP Statistics and Honors pre-calculus. I enjoy math and the sciences. In the community I am involved in my church and am a Junior High leader along with participating in Young Life. When I have free time I am swinging a golf club and hanging out with my friends.
